The Korea International Cooperation Agency has called for applications for its 2025 KOICA Scholarship from students from foreign partner countries.
The Korea International Cooperation Agency Scholarship offers a fully funded opportunity covering tuition, monthly stipend, round-trip international airfare, settlement allowance. university housing, and national health insurance.
Requirements
To be considered for the Korea International Cooperation Agency Scholarship, you must:
Be a citizen of an eligible country (see list below)
Be in good physical and mental health
Be under 40 years old as of February 1, 2025
Have proficiency in English (as courses are taught in English)
Be a civil servant or professional officially recommended by their government
Have relevant professional experience of at least 2 years for Master’s and 3 years for Doctorate programs
Benefits
The KOICA Scholarship covers;
Full tuition fee exemption
Monthly allowance of approximately 999,000 KRW (around USD 750)
Round-trip international airfare
Settlement allowance (600,000 KRW for Master’s, 1,200,000 KRW for Doctorate)
University housing
National health insurance
Support for academic and cultural activities
Completion grant at the end of the program (300,000 KRW for Master’s, 600,000 KRW for Doctorate)
