We are seeking an experienced Project Finance & Control Manager to lead and manage all finance-related activities within major projects.
This role is responsible for ensuring financial integrity, governance, risk management, and strategic support throughout the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep expertise in project finance and controls, capable of driving value-based decision-making and ensuring full compliance with financial processes.
Core Responsibilities
Lead financial governance, risk, and assurance activities for the project.
Manage budgeting, planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
Ensure accuracy of cost reporting, estimates, and internal/external reporting.
Support commercial, supply chain, and economic decision-making.
Oversee accounting, treasury, and cash flow activities.
Facilitate compliance with ERP systems, cost recovery, and internal controls.
Collaborate with project managers, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
Mentor and manage project finance teams.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a numerate discipline (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Economics).
Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA) – mandatory.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 15 years of relevant project finance experience in Oil & Gas, Construction, or Engineering.
Proven leadership experience in large, complex projects.
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP (ERP systems).
Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial controls, and risk management.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working in multi-cultural and cross-functional teams.
