We seek an experienced Wireline Division Manager to lead our wireline services operations.
The successful candidate will manage a team of 25+ technical professionals, oversee electric line and slickline operations, and drive business growth in the wireline services sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the entire wireline services division (electric line and slickline operations)
Develop and implement strategic plans for wireline service expansion
Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective service delivery to clients
Manage P&L responsibility for the wireline division
Build and maintain client relationships with IOCs, NNPC, and independent operators
Oversee equipment procurement, maintenance, and utilization optimization
Ensure compliance with Nigerian Content Act and all regulatory requirements
Lead business development activities and tender preparations
Implement quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives
Mentor and develop technical personnel within the division
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Minimum 15 years of experience in wireline operations
At least 5 years in senior management roles within oil & gas services
Extensive experience with electric line logging, perforating, and completion operations
Strong knowledge of Nigerian oil & gas operations and regulatory environment
Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills
Professional certifications (SPE, API, IWCF) preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or MBA
Experience with major oil & gas operators in Nigeria
Previous P&L management experience
Knowledge of Nigerian Content Act requirements
International wireline operations experience
