Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the bank’s business goals.
Lead brand development, positioning, and communications strategies across all channels.
Oversee market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and trends.
Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through targeted campaigns.
Manage digital and traditional marketing efforts including social media, PR, advertising, and events.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and operations to ensure alignment.
Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
Monitor KPIs and ROI of marketing initiatives and optimize performance accordingly.
Champion innovation in marketing technology and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA orprofessional marketing certification is a plus).
Minimum of 10 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/executive role—preferably within financial services, fintech, or microfinance.
Strong understanding of the Nigerian financial market and customer behavior.
Proven track record of brand building, digital transformation, and marketing-led growth.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to marketing.
Experience in customer segmentation, campaign management, and CRM systems.
