Financial Planning and Analysis:
Assist in developing and overseeing financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Budget Management:
Manage the preparation and implementation of budgets.
Monitor and report on budget variances, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of financial resources.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, including board members and investors.
Assist in developing and maintaining financial reporting systems and processes.
Cash Flow Management and Treasury:
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements to optimize cash management, liquidity management, and treasury operations.
Receivables & payables management.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and company policies.
Assist in developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Identify and mitigate financial risks, conducting regular risk assessments.
Job Requirements
(B.Sc) or Upper Credit (HND) in Accounting.
Minimum of 2- Maximum 4 years working experience in finance/accounting
Experience in oil and gas is a plus
Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
ICAN ACA. ACCA certification is a plus.
Must be a resident of Portharcourt city
