Summary
We are expanding our team and looking for a qualified and experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement operations at our Ajaokuta Factory.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure SOP are complied to, set the right process for good governance
To ensure inwards and outwards are done in timely manner and with well controlled
To ensure loading of trucks as done as per sales order
To ensure ERP compliance is done
To supervise drivers and loaders
To ensure there are no breakages in WH and stocks are kept properly
To ensure periodic physical verification is done
To ensure stocks are maintained properly
To ensure timely ERP entries are passed
To have exposure in bar coding, stretch hood etc.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/warehousing environment
Strong computer skills
Analytical mindset with a techno-commercial approach
Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a proven track record of effective negotiation and cost-saving initiatives/strategic sourcing.
Strong knowledge of warehouseprocesses, and vendor management.
Experience in managing and developing Storeteams.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
