Act as a strategic partner to the General Manager and department heads, providing HR insights and support to achieve business objectives.
Contribute to the overall strategic planning of the organization.
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent for various roles.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating with department heads.
Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into their roles and familiarize them with company culture, policies, and procedures.
Coordinate with department heads to facilitate job-specific training.
Identify training needs across departments and develop or source appropriate training programs.
Support career development and succession planning within the organization.
Implement and manage performance appraisal systems and provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement plans, goal setting and feedback.
Address performance issues proactively and ensure fair and consistent disciplinary actions when necessary.
Administer payroll processing in conjunction with the finance department.
Implement and oversee performance review processes, goal setting, and continuous feedback mechanisms to foster employee growth and productivity.
Identify training needs, develop and deliver HR-related training programs (e.g., orientation, service standards, compliance), and coordinate professional development opportunities for staff.
Administer compensation structures, payroll processes, and employee benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant Nigerian labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, prepare HR reports, and manage all necessary HR documentation.
Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale, foster a positive work culture, and promote recognition programs.
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional HR certification like CIPM is highly preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a experience within the hospitality industry.
