Inspect surface preparation (blasting, cleaning) to required standards.
Monitor coating application in line with approved procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
Carry out and document tests such as DFT, WFT, adhesion, and holiday testing.
Ensure all coating activities comply with project specifications and QA/QC requirements.
Identify defects, raise NCRs, and follow through on corrective actions.
Prepare and submit accurate inspection reports.
Work closely with QA/QC team, contractors, and client representatives.
Requirements:
HND / BSc Degree in Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of experience in coating inspection within EPC or oil & gas projects.
NACE Level 1 or 2 certification.
Good understanding of standards such as ISO, SSPC, ASTM.
Hands-on experience with inspection tools (DFT gauge, holiday detector, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
