We are seeking a proactive and technically sound Technical Assistant Engineer to support plant operations, maintenance activities, and engineering processes.
The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring optimal equipment performance, compliance with safety standards, continuous improvement of production efficiency, and site/construction exposure
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to engineering and maintenance teams on-site
Assist in monitoring plant equipment performance and troubleshooting faults
Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency
Prepare technical reports, logs, and documentation for engineering activities
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards
Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
Liaise with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
Assist in implementing engineering projects and upgrades
Monitor spare parts usage and support inventory planning
Requirements & Qualifications
B.Eng / HND in Building Engineering, Civil Engineering, Quantity Survey orArchitecture
1–3 years experience in a technical/engineering role (cement or manufacturing industry is an advantage)
Basic knowledge of cement production processes and plant operations
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced Building and construction environment.
