The Account Officer will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting the smooth financial operations of the Ilupeju facility.
Key Responsibilities
Handle daily accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting for the facility.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and follow-up on outstanding bills.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
Support payroll processing and staff-related financial matters.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, financial policies, and internal controls.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
Liaise with internal teams and external auditors when necessary.
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, or in progress) is an added advantage.
2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting is a plus).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations.
Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and numerical accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
