Job Overview
The accountant is responsible for reconciling bank statements, calculating tax payments, audits and making sure the company’s financial records are accurate tri-annually/throughout the year.
The accountant will help the business make financial decisions by collecting, tracking and correcting the company finances.
Responsibilities and Duties
Managing all accounting transactions
Handling monthly, tri-annual and annual closings
Ensuring timely payments and payment confirmations
Preparing budget forecasts
Computing taxes and prepare tax returns
Managing balance sheets, profit and loss statements
Reporting the company’s financial health and liquidity
Auditing financial transactions and documents
Making sure the company is complying with financial policies and regulations
Job Requirement
Must have work experience as an accountant
Must have excellent knowledge of accounting regulations, procedures and the generally accepted accounting principles (IFIRS)
Must be able to use any accounting software and general ledger functions
Must have advanced MS excel skills
Must have strong attention to details and good analytical skills
Must have BSc in Accounting, finance or any relevant degree(additional certifications is a plus)
Salary
N130,000 Monthly.
