We are looking for detail-oriented and language-proficient individuals to join our AI Data team as Audio Annotators.
The successful candidate will be responsible for listening to, transcribing, labeling, and reviewing audio data in either English or Hausa.
This role supports the development of speech recognition and natural language processing systems.
Key Responsibilities
Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe spoken words.
Annotate and label audio clips based on set guidelines. Identify and correct errors in transcripts and annotations.
Ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery of assigned tasks.
Follow project-specific instructions and feedback from supervisors.
Report any recurring audio issues or unclear content.
Requirements
A degree in English, Linguistics, Hausa, or any related field.
0 – 2 years experience in transcription, annotation, or data labelling (experience in AI or NLP projects is a plus).
Excellent command of English or Hausa (both written and spoken).
Good listening skills and attention to detail.
Basic computer skills and ability to work with audio annotation tools.
Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
