Working across MK Executive Care and Community Trust Network, your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining accurate financial records, including daily and monthly income and expenditure tracking
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Preparing monthly management accounts, financial statements, and cash flow forecasts
Processing mileage claims and staff expense reimbursements
Calculating staff hours for payroll and invoicing purposes
Conducting bank reconciliations and managing petty cash
Supporting budgeting and forecasting for both organizations
Preparing and submitting financial reports for projects, grants, and audits
Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including those specific to the care and education sectors
Liaising with external accountants, auditors, and funding bodies as required
Providing financial insights to inform business decisions and strategic planning
Requirements
3 – 5 years Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar financial role
Professional qualification in accounting (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
Strong Excel and data entry skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage the financial needs of two organizations effectively
