Our Client is seeking an experienced and certified Data Protection Officer (DPO) to lead our Technical Operations and deliver high-impact compliance solutions across sectors.
You will drive strategy, lead audits, liaise with the NDPC, manage data breach response, and support clients in embedding data privacy best practices.
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead all technical compliance operations and service delivery.
Conduct data protection impact assessments, gap analysis, and audits.
Develop privacy governance frameworks and policies for clients.
Guide breach response, reporting, and mitigation efforts.
Represent The Rainbow Strategy in regulatory, technical, and stakeholder engagements.
Supervise compliance consultants and technical advisors.
Facilitate client training and public education on data protection.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Information Security, or related field.
NDPC-recognised DPO certification (mandatory).
At least 5 years’ experience in data protection, legal compliance, or IT governance.
Preferred: CIPM, CIPP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or equivalent.
Sound knowledge of the NDPA 2023, NDPR, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks.
