We are seeking a skilled Clinical Perfusionist to manage cardiopulmonary bypass and other extracorporeal support systems during cardiac and related surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and manage heart-lung machines during cardiac surgeries.
Monitor patients’ circulation, oxygenation, and temperature during procedures.
Prepare and maintain perfusion equipment.
Administer blood products and medications as directed.
Work closely with cardiac surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other medical staff.
Maintain accurate patient and procedure records.
Ensure compliance with clinical and safety standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant qualification in Clinical Perfusion/Perfusion Science.
Relevant professional certification/licensing.
Previous experience as a Clinical Perfusionist in a hospital or cardiac centre.
Strong knowledge of cardiopulmonary bypass and extracorporeal circulation.
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
