We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Collection Officer to manage loan recovery and ensure timely repayment from customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, negotiation ability, and a good understanding of debt collection processes.
Key Responsibilities
Contact customers via phone calls, messages, and visits to follow up on outstanding payments
Negotiate repayment plans and ensure adherence to agreed terms
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly recovery targets
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and collections
Escalate difficult or delinquent cases when necessary
Educate customers on repayment obligations and company policies
Work closely with team leaders and recovery managers to improve performance
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of SSCE / OND / HND / B.Sc (any discipline)
Previous experience in loan recovery or collections is an advantage
Strong communication and persuasion skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
High level of integrity and professionalism
Must have an andriod phone
