Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join a high-performing team in identifying and implementing data-driven solutions.
This role is ideal for a professional capable of translating business data into actionable insights, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving profitability within a retail chain superstore environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough data analysis and utilize data visualization tools to track KPIs, identify trends, and inform business decisions.
Gather and analyze complex requirements for retail projects, ensuring standards for documentation (process flows, reports, and data models) are maintained.
Translate strategic goals from senior management into data-backed actionable initiatives, serving as a reliable insights provider to stakeholders.
Monitor retail performance metrics, focusing on supply chain efficiency, inventory turnover, and merchandising performance.
Support the project team by providing accurate forecasting, predictive modeling, and regular performance reporting.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 – 2 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the retail, supply chain, or consumer goods sector.
Solid understanding of retail industry dynamics (supply chain, inventory management, and merchandising).
Proficiency in data analysis, querying, and reporting tools such as SQL, advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or Python/R.
Strong knowledge of business process improvement and data analysis methodologies.
Relevant Professional Certifications.
