Prepare and serve healthy meals for boarding and day students.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food storage areas.
Ensure proper handling and storage of food items.
Assist in managing kitchen supplies and minimizing food waste.
Work in line with the school’s values, rules, and child protection policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience as a cook or chef, preferably in a school, hostel, or institutional setting.
Ability to prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals suitable for children and adolescents.
Good knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
Ability to plan menus and manage food portions efficiently.
Must be physically fit and able to work under pressure.
Must be trustworthy, disciplined, and responsible.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Must be a resident of Aba, Abia State.
