We are seeking an Electrical Engineer/Solar Energy who will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining solar PV systems and inverter setups for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. This role involves working closely with clients, electrical teams, and project managers to ensure seamless solar power integration and optimize system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct site assessments to determine feasibility for solar PV installations.
Design solar power systems, including PV panels, inverters, and battery storage solutions.
Calculate energy requirements, panel positioning, and electrical load analysis to maximize efficiency.
Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Install solar panels, inverters (string, hybrid, microinverters), charge controllers, and battery storage systems.
Connect solar arrays to electrical grids or off-grid setups, ensuring proper wiring and configurations.
Test and commission inverter systems, monitoring tools, and backup power solutions.
Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and system diagnostics.
Troubleshoot solar inverters, battery storage systems, and PV modules for performance issues.
Implement electrical safety protocols and ensure proper grounding and surge protection.
Provide technical guidance and training to clients on solar system operation.
Prepare project reports, system documentation, and user manuals.
Assist with warranty claims and after-sales technical support.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of experience in solar PV system design, installation, and inverter integration.
Knowledge of solar panel wiring, inverters (on-grid, off-grid, hybrid), and battery storage solutions.
Experience with solar monitoring software and smart energy management systems.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in outdoor environments, on rooftops, and at heights.
Effective communication and customer service skills
