Requirements
To be considered for the University of Manitoba Canada Scholarship, you must:
Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
Biosystems Engineering
Electrical/Computer Engineering
Agricultural/Biological Engineering
Or related fields
Programming and data analysis (MATLAB, Python, etc.)
Experience in machine learning and deep learning
Knowledge of sensors (NIR, X-ray, HSI, gas sensors)
Grain handling, post-harvest metrics, or storage modeling
Scientific publications or prior research experience
Benefits
MSc Position: Minimum stipend of CAD $21,000/year
PhD Position: Minimum stipend of CAD $26,000/year
Start Dates: Flexible – Fall 2025, Winter 2026, or Summer 2026
