We are looking for a seasoned Internal Auditor to design, implement, and monitor internal control systems for a new Supermarket and Bakery business.
The role requires hands-on experience in audits, risk management, and operational controls.
Responsibilities
Design and implement internal control and audit frameworks
Conduct regular audits of sales, inventory, procurement, and cash handling
Review compliance with operational and financial procedures
Identify control gaps, risks, and fraud exposures
Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations
Monitor implementation of corrective actions
Support management in strengthening governance and risk controls
Requirements
Minimum of HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3 – 5 years relevant experience in internal audit, preferably in retail, supermarket, FMCG, or hospitality
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CIA) is a strong advantage
Strong knowledge of audit standards, controls, and risk management
Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills
High level of independence and professional judgment.
