Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records and reports
Record daily financial transactions and post entries into accounting systems
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Reconcile bank statements, cashbooks, and ledger accounts
Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense claims
Assist with payroll processing and statutory deductions
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records
Assist during internal and external audits
Ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting standards
Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or Accountant.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
Good numerical and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time-management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
Willingness to learn and take instructions
NYSC completion or exemption (where applicable).
Additional Skills (Advantage):
Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage)
Understanding of tax regulations and statutory remittance.
