The Junior Facility Officer assists in the daily operations and maintenance of buildings, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment. 
This role involves supporting facility management tasks, coordinating minor repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
The officer works closely with vendors, maintenance teams, and management to maintain the property efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance & Operations:

Assist in overseeing the maintenance of buildings, utilities, and equipment.
Report and track repairs, ensuring timely resolution of facility issues.
Coordinate with service providers for cleaning, security, and waste management.
Monitor the condition of common areas and office spaces, ensuring tidiness and functionality.

Vendor & Contractor Coordination:

Liaise with maintenance personnel, technicians, and third-party contractors.
Assist in verifying service quality and ensuring work is completed as agreed.
Support procurement of facility-related supplies and services.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Report any health and safety hazards to the facility manager.
Assist in maintaining records for fire safety, security, and emergency response procedures.

Administrative Support:

Keep records of facility inspections, maintenance schedules, and vendor contracts.
Assist in preparing reports on facility conditions and operational needs.
Respond to staff or tenant requests related to facility issues.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in facility management or property operations.
Basic knowledge of building maintenance, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software is a plus.
