Evaluate patients and administer appropriate medical treatment for a variety of illnesses and injuries.
Prescribe, administer, and dispense medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Ensure optimal patient care following clinical guidelines and quality standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and transactions as per company policies.
Conduct inpatient and outpatient reviews, initiating assessments and management plans.
Supervise Medical Assistants to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Participate in clinical audits and other quality assurance initiatives.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Manage emergency situations promptly and efficiently.
Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
Provide mentorship and training to junior medical staff.
Requirements
M.B.B.S degree.
Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
Proficiency in computer usage.
NYSC discharge Certificate or Exemption letter.
Familiarity with Healthcare Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving and clinical decision-making abilities.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum of 2 years post NYSC experience in medical practice.
Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations.
Strong ethical standards and integrity.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
