Monitor daily usage and performance of plant vehicles and equipment
Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs
Maintain accurate vehicle logs, fuel usage records, and service history
Ensure fleet complies with regulatory standards (FRSC, VIO, insurance, etc.)
Track vehicle licenses, insurance, inspection certificates, and renewals
Liaise with external service providers and workshops
Monitor and control fleet operating costs
Maintain inventory of plant mobile and fixed assets
Use fleet management tools/software for tracking and reporting
Coordinate fleet deployment with logistics, production, and procurement teams
Train drivers/operators on fleet policies and safety standards
Report fleet issues promptly to management

Requirements

HND / BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Transport Management, or related field
3–4 years experience in fleet or transport operations
Knowledge of vehicle mechanics and servicing schedules
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or fleet management software
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Proximity to Agbara is important
