The Plumber will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of water supply systems, sanitary systems, and piping fixtures across company facilities and in armored vehicle projects where applicable. The role ensures that plumbing works are executed effectively, safely, and in line with technical and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, water supply lines, drainage systems, and related fixtures.
Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and faulty components.
Conduct regular inspections of pipes, valves, and fittings to identify potential issues.
Assemble, install, and test plumbing systems according to specifications and safety codes.
Repair and replace defective parts such as faucets, sinks, toilets, and pumps.
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and facility teams during projects or upgrades.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work carried out.
Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues.
Perform other plumbing-related duties as assigned by the Maintenance/Facility Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
Trade Test Certificate, Technical College Certificate, ND/HND in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years proven experience as a plumber in an industrial, manufacturing, or facilities management environment.
Strong knowledge of water systems, sanitary installations, and plumbing repair techniques.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using plumbing tools, equipment, and repair materials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals.
Good understanding of safety standards and plumbing codes.
