Online Foodstuff Store Ltd. is looking for a Price Sourcing Officer to join our team in Abuja.
The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and sourcing competitive and up-to-date market prices for products, monitoring price movements, and providing accurate pricing information to support purchasing and sales decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily/regular market research to obtain current prices of products.
Source and compare prices from different vendors and markets.
Maintain an updated database of product and vendor prices.
Identify competitive pricing opportunities and significant price changes.
Verify vendor quotations and submitted prices before procurement.
Provide timely price reports to the Purchasing/Supply Chain and Management teams.
Build and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and market contacts.
Monitor market trends and identify factors affecting product prices.
Requirements
HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field.
1–3 years’ experience in price sourcing, procurement, purchasing, market research, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of local markets and product pricing.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Good Excel/Google Sheets skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Experience in FMCG, foodstuff, retail, or e-commerce is an advantage.
