Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee financial reporting, manage day-to-day accounting operations, and support business performance through budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
The role will also be responsible for strengthening financial controls, supporting audit processes, and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial management across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely financial and management accounts, including monthly reporting for the business unit
Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including credit control activities
Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and year-end reporting
Develop annual budgets and conduct periodic (monthly/quarterly) performance reviews against targets
Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and controls
Lead and coordinate internal and external audit activities
Conduct financial forecasting and analysis to support business growth initiatives
Collaborate closely with Financial Reporting leadership to resolve accounting and reporting issues
Support cash flow planning, monitoring, and control
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and duties as required by management
Requirements
Bsc in Accounting
Professional qualification (ACCA or ACA) is required
Strong analytical, numeric and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite
Strong accounting and book-keeping skills
Proficiency in the use of accounting softwares
Detail orientation.
