Our client, a reputable International School located on the Mainland, Lagos, is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Store Officer to join its Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the school’s stock and inventory control across departments. This role requires a high level of integrity, accuracy, and organizational skill.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Store and Inventory Management:
Receive, inspect, and document all incoming supplies and ensure quality control.
Maintain and update digital and manual inventory systems.
Conduct routine stock audits and reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy.
Distribute stock to departments based on requisitions and approvals.
Monitor stock usage patterns to avoid wastage or shortages.
Organize store layout and ensure compliance with safety and storage protocols.
Assist procurement processes and report stock discrepancies to management.
Prepare and submit timely inventory and stock movement reports.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery notes.
Unpack, label, and store incoming goods in designated locations.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and posting transactions using inventory management software.
Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Prepare orders for delivery or shipment to customers.
Coordinate with suppliers, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile variances between physical stock and system records.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and warehouse procedures.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Job Specification
Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a school or educational environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management systems.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking ability.
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial and inventory records.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
Customer service orientation and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
