Technical Skills and Software: Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
Also proficient in mobile editing software like InShot
Conduct colour correction and grading to establish specific moods or atmospheres. Perform sound editing and mixing, integrating music, sound effects, and dialogue to enhance storytelling.
Understand different video formats and codecs to ensure compatibility with intended platforms.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with directors, producers, and other creatives to understand the vision for the video.
Provide feedback and suggestions during filming or pre-production to optimise footage for editing.
Clearly communicate edits and revisions, addressing concerns from stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Adaptability and Versatility: Edit various video formats and lengths, including short social media clips and long-form documentaries.
