Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly driven Site Engineer (Civil) to join the organization’s growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supervising on-site construction activities, ensuring quality standards, project timelines, and compliance with health and safety regulations. He/she will play a key role in project coordination, technical support, resource management, and communication with senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day construction activities on-site to ensure alignment with project specifications and designs.
Provide technical support and guidance to site workers and subcontractors.
Prepare and implement project plans and schedules.
Ensure quality control standards are strictly adhered to at every stage of the construction process.
Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
Coordinate and manage labor, materials, and equipment resources.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials usage, and project progress.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on project milestones, risks, and deviations.
Identify and resolve any issues or delays in project execution promptly.
Requirements:
B.Sc. or HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum of 4 years’ hands-on experience in construction and site supervision.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site layouts.
Excellent project coordination, planning, and organizational skills.
Strong leadership and interpersonal communication abilities.
Good reporting skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering/project management tools is an added advantage.
