Key Responsibilities
Patient assessment: Perform physical exams, record medical histories, and monitor vital signs to assess patients’ needs.
Care planning: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Medication and treatment: Administer medications and treatments, including IVs, and monitor patients for side effects or reactions.
Monitoring and documentation: Monitor patient progress, observe symptoms, and maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Patient and family education: Provide education on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
Assisting with procedures: Assist clinicians during medical exams, diagnostic tests, and other procedures.
Lab work: Collect blood, urine, and other bodily fluid samples for laboratory testing.
Health promotion: Promote patient wellness through counseling and education.
Emergency care: Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid and basic life support.
Advocacy: Advocate for patient rights, dignity, and autonomy.
Supervision: Supervise other nursing staff, such as LPNs and nursing assistants.
Qualifications
Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2-10 years experience.
