The dispatch rider is responsible for the timely and secure delivery of packages, documents, and other items to clients or businesses.
The role requires good knowledge of routes, strong time management, and safe riding practices.
Key Responsibilities
Pick up and deliver packages, documents, and parcels to assigned destinations
Ensure deliveries are made on time and in good condition
Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery
Verify delivery information (addresses, contact details, etc.)
Maintain records of deliveries and obtain signatures where required
Handle cash-on-delivery transactions when necessary
Perform basic motorcycle maintenance and keep it clean
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
Report any delays, accidents, or issues to the company promptly
Requirements & Qualifications
Valid rider’s license
Good knowledge of local roads and routes
Ability to read maps or use GPS/navigation apps
Strong time management and organizational skills
Good communication skills
Physical fitness and ability to ride for long hours
Previous experience in delivery/logistics.
