Rainbow Educational Services Limited (RESL) is an education management company in Nigeria that operates K-12 schools, including Pampers Private School and Rainbow College.Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, refrigeration units, and related HVAC equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot cooling system problems using appropriate tools and testing devices
Perform routine servicing, cleaning, and inspections on A/C systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns
Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and HVAC schematics
Identify cooling requirements for new installations or renovations and recommend suitable A/C solutions
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, refrigerant usage, and installations
Monitor and manage the inventory of HVAC tools, spare parts, and consumables
Respond promptly to emergency A/C faults to reduce downtime and maintain comfort levels
Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and compliant with HVAC safety standards
Perform any other duties related to HVAC tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and Skills
Diploma or technical certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 – 5 years proven experience as an A/C or HVAC technician
Strong knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
Ability to read and interpret HVAC diagrams, wiring layouts, and technical manuals
Familiarity with HVAC safety standards, environmental regulations, and refrigerant handling procedures
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
