We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, prepare and analyze financial statements and reports and to also contribute significantly to the supermarket overall success.

Responsibilities

Prepare and post invoice for all sales (cash/Credit)
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation to ensure accurate records of financial transactions.
Managing vendor information within the system, including setting up new vendors and maintaining existing vendor records.
Comply with financial policies and regulations.

Requirements

HND / B.Sc in Accounting, Finance or a relevant degree
2-3 years proven work experience as an Accountant
Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (Quickbooks or SAGE 50)
Proficiency in English and in MS Office
Experience with general ledger functions
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Professional certification is an added advantage.

Knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
