We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Archivist to manage, preserve, and provide access to our growing collection of physical and digital records. 
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the long-term preservation of valuable documents and facilitating access to critical information in compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Acquire, organize, catalog, and maintain physical and digital archives.
Develop and implement archival policies, procedures, and classification systems.
Evaluate records for historical, legal, or administrative value and determine retention periods.
Ensure secure and efficient storage, retrieval, and disposal of records.
Assist internal departments and external researchers in locating and using archived materials.
Maintain and update digital databases and content management systems.
Ensure compliance with data protection and information governance standards.
Promote awareness and use of archival resources through training, guides, or presentations.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Archival Studies, Library Science, History, Information Management, or a related field.
Must have completed his/her NYSC
Must not be older than 28 years old
2+ years of experience in archiving, records management, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of archival principles, records lifecycle, and classification systems.
Familiarity with electronic records management systems (ERMS) and metadata standards.
Excellent organizational, research, and communication skills.
High level of integrity and attention to detail.
