We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Field Support Officer to join our team in the oil and gas sector.
The ideal candidate will provide on-site operational and administrative support, ensuring smooth field operations, compliance with safety regulations, and effective coordination between field teams and management.
This role requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct support to field operations, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently and in compliance with safety and industry standards.
Monitor site operations and report any incidents, delays, or challenges to the relevant departments.
Maintain accurate documentation, including work permits, compliance reports, and daily activity logs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless communication between the field and office management.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
Assist in conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments as needed.
Support emergency response and incident management processes on-site.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 0-3 years of experience in field operations, or project coordination within the oil and gas industry.
Strong understanding of HSE policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and adapt to changing operational demands.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and field reporting tools.
Willingness to travel and work in remote locations as required.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in field coordination or site supervision is an advantage.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and operational procedures.
