The ideal candidate will have 4 – 5 years of relevant experience in HSE management, ensuring compliance with local regulations, company standards, and international best practices to promote a safe and sustainable work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, systems, and procedures across project sites.
Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure preventive measures.
Promote a strong safety culture through employee training, awareness programs, and engagement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (DPR, NESREA, ISO, OSHA, etc.) and company safety policies.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate emergency response plans and ensure readiness for workplace incidents.
Liaise with contractors, regulatory bodies, and project managers on all safety-related matters.
Maintain accurate HSE documentation and prepare periodic reports for management review.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
4 – 5 years proven experience in a similar HSE role (preferably within construction, oil & gas, or engineering projects).
Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001, or equivalent is a strong advantage.
Excellent knowledge of HSE regulations, audits, and risk management procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
Ability to influence and drive compliance across all organizational levels.
