The HR Business Partner acts as a strategic partner to management by aligning HR strategies with business goals. He/She is responsible for workforce planning, employee relations, compliance with labour laws, and improving productivity in a construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with management to design and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent development for both office and site staff.
Manage employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, health and safety regulations.
Support performance management and succession planning.
Develop training programs to build workforce capacity.
Provide HR insights through data and analytics to guide decision-making.
Drive change management and organizational development initiatives.
Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2- 4 years’ experience in Core Human resource management
Minimum qualification
BSC/HND in Management/HRM. Professional qualifications will be an added advantage
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
Experience in a construction/ related company is an added advantage.
